Pressing Emotion Into Vinyl
When The Beneficial Society approached us, they made one thing clear:
they didn’t want just another blue vinyl. They wanted something that reflected the emotional tension of their music — calm on the surface, explosive underneath.
Inspired by the album artwork, we developed a milky translucent base with an explosive blue core radiating outward. Before mass production, we provided custom sampling and refined pigment ratios, extrusion temperatures, and multi-stage pressing parameters to control diffusion and flow behavior. The band reviewed real samples and adjusted details with us — eliminating the risk of mismatch before scaling up.
Once approved, we locked in a dedicated production template to ensure visual consistency from sample to hundreds of copy run. Each record keeps its organic uniqueness, while the overall look remains stable and repeatable.
This project wasn’t just about color — it was about turning creative emotion into controlled, scalable manufacturing.
