We use DMM Stampers for the projects.
With DMM technology you will produce a crystal clear sound with a minimum of ground noises, a quality that you will not reach with lacquer technology. In DMM technology there is no silver processing and no family plating needed, stampers will be made direct from the DMM and this short plating makes the ground noise level much better than lacquers and clicks are minimalized.
On playing times of 8-12 minutes lacuqers can be done 1-2 dB louder, on playing times of 13-15 minutes they have the same loudness and on playing times up to 20-22 minutes DMM technology will be 1-2dB louder than lacquers. The land between the grooves can be reduced to 10 µm, old lacuqers machine need much more safety.
In production we recommend playing times for LP of 16-18 minutes per side, normal today are 20-22 minutes. We can also do longer playing times but cutting level need to be reduced.
